Dave has been improvising since 2016. With a particular love for musical improv, he has trained with MissImp, The Maydays, and Showstopper!. His improv adventures have taken in five countries so far, including performances in Berlin and Edinburgh. He improvises songs of all styles with Comic Harmonic, emotionally-powerful drama with Flower Freedom, and a video game with Enter Player 2. He was longtime producer and compere of Smash Night in Nottingham, and has taught with MissImp since 2019.
