Make It Matter is workshop on strong reactions and smart justifications. Learn to heighten any moment, give significance to simple choices, and turn random lines into relatable reality. We’ll learn how to build supportive, engaging scenes that satisfy audiences by making every moment matter!

With Wei Joo Ooi

Wei Joo led his first workshop in 2012 and amidst the chaos, people seemed to have fun! He got involved in the Reading improv scene in 2015 and later became a founding member of the Free Radicals troupe, using informative “TED-style” talks as the inspiration of their shows. Currently part of the longform group Imagination Superhighway, debuting at the Hoopla Improv Marathon with their Choose Your Own Adventure format, and horror based group The Choir.
