Hitting, Kissing and Falling in Love

At BIP, we don't interact physically - because we don't know each other. But what happens when we return to our usual groups, and work with people we know well? We will be looking at how you can appear to hit (and kiss) your scene partner, without actually doing either, in a consensual manner. We will also be looking at physical moves that you can make that give the impression that your characters are falling in love on stage.

With Kate Bishop & John Tapp

Kate trained as a performer at Drama Studios London. She established a career in sketch comedy before joining City Improv for 6 years, and helped to run their Improv festival in Shoreditch, before moving to the Cotswolds. She has taken shows to Edinburgh, Brighton and Camden fringe festivals. John has been improvising for almost 10 years, in and around Cheltenham. Kate and John both regularly teach and perform shortform with Comic Sans Sript, and longform with Shatterprov.
