Advanced Music: Please don't stop the music

For those with a lot of musical improv experience! Finding songs in longform improv is one thing, but sticking to them and committing to them musically is how to take the show to the next level, so lets do that! We will dig deep into song structures so we can utilise them live, identifying what the song needs at every moment so that everyone on stage can make it happen. We will craft endings to songs that do them justice, overcommit to the genre offers, and discover some absolute bangers.

Tom has been an improv musician for over 16 years, having worked with many top acts across the UK and beyond. A software developer in the audio industry by day, he can often be found improvising musicals with Music Box or Dragprov Revue, evoking classic Hollywood with the improvised 'Talkies', playing for laughs with internationally renowned comedians, and providing dramatic tension for improvised murder mysteries in international waters with Murder She Didn't Write.
